Program Description
ProHireHQ is operated by BDB Coaching, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. Our SMS program sends two distinct categories of messages, each with its own separate consent:
- Transactional messages — interview scheduling, application status updates, candidate-facing follow-ups, and replies to inquiries you started.
- Promotional messages — service announcements, hiring-event invitations, and time-limited offers for employer subscribers.
Each consent is captured on its own checkbox in the ProHireHQ chat widget. Marketing consent is never bundled with transactional consent, and neither is required to receive a reply, request information, or use the platform.
How to Opt In
You opt in by visiting https://www.prohirehq.com, providing your mobile number in the chat widget, and selecting one or both of the unchecked consent boxes presented above the submit button. Your opt-in is logged with timestamp, IP address, the disclosure language shown to you, and the boxes you selected.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies based on the conversation you started and your opt-in selections. Most candidates receive between two and eight transactional messages per active hiring conversation. Promotional opt-ins receive no more than four messages per month.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. ProHireHQ does not charge for SMS, but your mobile carrier's standard rates for SMS or MMS may apply to messages you send and receive. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
Help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any ProHireHQ message to receive contact information for support. You can also email privacy@prohirehq.com at any time. We typically respond within one business day.
Opt Out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any ProHireHQ message to opt out. Opt-out is processed immediately and you will receive a single confirmation message. After that confirmation, you will not receive further messages from the program you opted out of unless you re-enroll. STOP applies to the consent type the message belongs to (transactional or promotional); to opt out of both, reply STOP to one message from each category, or email privacy@prohirehq.com and we will remove you from all SMS programs.
Eligibility
The ProHireHQ SMS program is available to U.S. mobile subscribers age 18 or older with a U.S. phone number on a participating carrier. By opting in, you represent that you meet these criteria and that you are the account holder or have the account holder's permission.
Supported Carriers
The program is supported on most major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carrier participation may change without notice.
Privacy and Sharing
Your mobile number and SMS consent records are processed under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or opt-in records with third parties for their own marketing. Service providers that help us deliver SMS (for example, our messaging vendor) process this data only on our instructions and under contract.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and, where required, communicated via SMS or email before the change takes effect.
