The Role
We are looking for a Healthcare Staffing Specialist based in the Hampton Roads area (Virginia Beach or Chesapeake preferred) to grow our local market presence. You will own the full recruitment cycle: sourcing passive candidates, building relationships with local healthcare facilities, and managing active placements across clinical roles — RNs, LPNs, CNAs, MDS Coordinators, and DONs.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role for someone who knows the Hampton Roads healthcare landscape and can hit the ground running.
What You Will Do
- Source and recruit active and passive healthcare professionals across Hampton Roads using LinkedIn, job boards, referral networks, and direct outreach
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers at Sentara, Chesapeake Regional, Riverside, CHKD, and other regional health systems
- Manage a full requisition desk of clinical and administrative open roles
- Conduct candidate interviews, reference checks, credential verification, and onboarding
- Coordinate with clients to understand role requirements, culture fit, and urgency levels
- Track placements, pipeline activity, and revenue performance in our ATS/CRM
- Represent ProHireHQ at local healthcare and HR networking events
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of healthcare staffing or clinical recruiting experience (travel, per diem, direct hire, or temp-to-perm)
- Deep familiarity with the Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake healthcare market
- Experience recruiting RNs, LPNs, CNAs, or allied health professionals
- Comfortable using LinkedIn Recruiter, VMS/MSP platforms, and ATS software
- Strong cold-outreach and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, metrics-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced agency environment
- Knowledge of Virginia nursing licensure, JCAHO standards, or DNV accreditation is a plus

- Base salary + uncapped commission structure
